The Black Eyed Peas are three men and one woman.
Their bandname comes from a sort of peas with “black eyes”. They were ussually eaten on the 1st January every year in America.
The idols of the Black Eyed Peas are “De La Soul” and “A Tribe called Quest”.

Fergie
Stacy Ann Ferguson, called Fergie, was born on the 27th of March in 1975.
Her career began in 1983 as the voice of Sally Brown from the Peanuts show.
When she was 8 she played in the TV-Show “Kids Incorporated”.
In 1993 she was graduated from the Glen A.Wilson Highscool in California.
5 years later she joined the all-female band “Wild Orchid” but they weren`t very famous so they stopped recording albums. Meanwhile she worked as a model she came in contact with Ecstasy and other drugs.
Now she is clean. Since July last year she`s engaged with the actor Josh Duhamel.
Will.I.Am
William James Adams was born on the 15th of March in 1975.
In 1993 he was graduated from the Palisades Highschool in California.
He`s the producer and songwriter from the Black Eyed Peas and he has got his own fashion line which is called “i.am clothing”.
Apl.De.Ap
His real name is Allan Pineda Lindo and he was born on the 28th of November in 1974 in Pampanga, Philipines.When he was 14 years old he was adopted by an American family and moved to L.A..
Apl.De.Ap knows Will.I.Am since they were kids.
Taboo
Jaime Luis Gomez, called Taboo, was born on the 14th of July 1975 in California. He`s a descendant of the Shoshone tribe. His son Joshua Parish Gomez was born when Taboo was 18 years old.
Bandhistory
Will.I.Am and Apl.De.Ap founded the group “Tribal Nation” but after Taboo joined the group the called “Black Eyed Peas”. Their first album “Behind the front” wasn`t successful, the following albums, too.
On an Aftershowparty Will.I.Am met Fergie and suggested her to join the Black Eyed Peas. After that the Black Eyed Peas were successful.
Music
Their music-style is a mix between Hip-hop, R&B and Dance.
The Black Eyed Peas worked together with other singers like Justin Timberlake, Macy Gray, Wyclef Jean, Sergio Mendes and many others. They got two famous albums:” Elephunk” and “Monkey Business”.
“Where is the love” is one of the most famous songs from the Black Eyed Peas.
