• Kurt Donald Cobain was born on the 20th of February 1967 in Aberdeen
• his parents are called Wendy and Don Cobain
• He found his passion to music early in his life and started to sing beatles songs like “hey jude”, when he was only two years old
• At the age of eight Kurt Cobain’s parents Wendy and Donald divorced
• he stayed with his mother in Aberdeen and with the separation of his parents, he got psychic problems
• later he moved to his father, because he didn’t liked the partner of his mum
• his father also got together with a new girlfriend, so the relationships to his parents got worse
• Kurt was as a hyperactive child and had to take medicine
• with 15 years he met Kris Novoselic with whom he made music together
• they wanted to build a band together
• At the age of 18, he left school without an exam and moved to Olympia, Washington
• At a club in Los Angeles Kurt met Courtney Love from the band “hole”
• Cobain and Courtney married in February 1992 on Hawaii and in the same year their daughter Frances Bean Cobain was born
• he consumed heroin
• on the 4th March 1994, Kurt had been rushed to hospital after his unsuccessful suicide with a cocktail of drugs and champagne
• days later, on the 5th April, he barricaded himself into the garage behind his house and put, after taking a overdose of drugs, a shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger
• he was found by an electrician 3 days later, next to him there was a letter of saying goodbye to his family and friends
• Kurt Cobain, famous singer, guitar-player and songwriter died at the age of 27.

• Krist Novoselic was born to Croatian
• He has two brothers, Robert, and Dillon, and in 1973, Novoselic's sister Diana was born
• Novoselic attended the grammer school (1980)
• For most of his life, Novoselic had chosen to go by the English spelling of his name, Chris
• He turned down an offer from friend and former bandmate Dave Grohl who invited him to join his new band Foo Fighters because he was worried that people would think Foo Fighters was a new reincarnation of Nirvana

• born January 14, 1969
• is an American rock musician, singer and songwriter
• Grohl has also been involved in other musical projects
• At the age of twelve, Grohl began learning to play guitar
• While in high school, Grohl played in several local bands
• Grohl began his music career in the 1980’s as the drummer for several Washington, DC, area bands, including the hardcore punk band Scream
• in 1990 he became the drummer for grunge group Nirvana
• following the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in April 1994, Grohl formed the Foo Fighters, where he emerged as a frontman and songwriter

• Nirvana was a popular rock band founded in 1987 in Aberdeen, Washington
• the group disbanded in 1994 upon the death of its leader, Kurt Cobain
• many critics and historians hail Nirvana as the 'flagship band' of 'Generation X'.
• finally the band consisted of Kurt Cobain, Kris Novoselic, Buzz Osborne and Dave Grohl
• after some name changes, they called the band “Nirvana”
• the style of their music is called „GRUNGE“
• Kurt Cobain was the writer of most of the songs of Nirvana but he also worked with many other bands and realized albums with them
• first single “Love Buzz”
• 1989 the first “nirvana” – album with the title “bleach” was released
• with the success of the album Nirvana became very popular
• when the album “Nevermind” appeared, it caused sensation in the music business and it was sold more than 10 million time
• The single “smells like teen spirit” even became a youth hymn
• in the end of the year 1992 released the third album “Incesticide” has been
• When it got worse during their tours, Kurt made the first experiences with drugs
• in 1993 the last album “In Utero” appeared
• After his dead, Nirvana existed no longer
• Krist and Dave are still playing in some other bands
• Regarding to this sad incidence, many teenagers commited suicide like their idol Kurt Cobain
• NIRVANA published four albums and a lot of singles
• After Kurt’s death the band Nirvana also won a lot of prices like the Grammy or the American Music Award
• Today every year Mtv makes a Nirvana special at the 5th of April
• Following Cobain's death, Grohl formed the Foo Fighters
• Novoselic formed the trio Sweet 75
• 1989 Bleach
• 1991 Nevermind
• 1992 Incesticide
• 1993 In Utero
• 1994 MTV Unplugged in New York
